My fuel pump quit while using my truck! traced it back to the fuse box. Integrated fuse is to blame. I can not fix this due to availability of the part. And price! normally you have a relay to change! but no! ideas"?"

The contact also stated that they heard a leaking air noise coming from the vehicle. The vehicle's dashboard was burned and the vehicle was inoperable. The contact stated that the vehicle remained on the side of the road. There were no injuries. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While the vehicle was parked briefly, an internal fire occurred. The air conditioning line to the compressor had a hole in the rubber and melted due to the fire. The contact looked under the hood and noticed that the wiring, air conditioning line, hoses, and other components behind the alternator assembly were damaged. The dealer (golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 2405 S telegraph rd, bloomfield hills, mi 48302, (248) 334-3600) was notified and stated that there were no recalls. The manufacturer was notified of the fire. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN and failure mileage were not available.

I purchased my current truck band new and have been the only owner. I place the key into the ignition and it does not allow me to turn the key to crank the truck. It acts as if the anti locking device is keeping the key from turning. My previous Dodge Ram 1500 pickup I purchased new had the same problem. I had to replace the ignition switch at my own cost. I have seen several recalls with other Chrysler products doing the same exact thing. It appears to be a reoccurring problem. The vehicle is in the stationary position and has left me stranded. I have seen youtube video of the person tapping on the end of the key while in the ignition which seems to work on occasion.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving approximately 35 mph approaching a traffic signal, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning indicator flashed. Also, the brakes and power steering seized. The contact coasted the vehicle to the road shoulder. The contact waited a few seconds and, as soon as the vehicle stopped, shifted the gear lever to park and restarted the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure occurred intermittently approximately 35 times during the course of two years. The contact called port jeff Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram in port jefferson station, New York and was advised to take the additional keys off of the key ring. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.

Vehicle shut off while driving causing loss of steering and braking. It gave code for bank 2 knock sensor and oil viscosity wrong. It would not start. Noticed smell from under passenger side. Found insulated harnessing in passenger side had caught fire possible due to short to chassis. Wiring was all in oem state, found no standoffs present to keep harness off chassis on horizontal run, standiffs are present in vertical run by oil filter. Replaced section of harness and documented with pictures. This is a hazard to all Dodge owners, flame in very close proximity to oil filter. I have documented all with photos and request compensation for my work to repair.

Engine will cut off during driving. Stalls. I replaced battery and no one knows why it cuts off and stalls this has happened multiple times. Sometimes if you disconnect the battery it may start. Lock and unlock the remote control. Or just sat and wait or have it towed home. Midway driving it will shut off the engine for no reason. Doesn't matter if the fuel is full or low.

I'm not starting from the complete beginning I'm starting from when it place the worst took to Dodge cuz I had dying problems stalling out if I was driving to and from work mind you I drive 600 miles at a time one direction way home one night vehicle stalls out pulled to side of the interstate the vehicle starts back get down the road and it just stutters a little so I keep going get done with a little further they completely dies while I'm going through North Carolina to Tennessee the gorge as they call it no place on the side of the road semi beside me semi behind me no pull off to the left either hit a pot hole truck dies luckily in running about 90 mile an hour put the truck in neutral crank it no crank no start crank it again it starts popping in gear scared as hell get to the nearest gas station in worries that something else is going to happen to the truck trying to make to safe place I finally make it home truck did that couple more times on the way and stall out. I took it to Dodge and they said it was the tipm well have them fix it got the truck back no fix there they did get two codes for the tipm problem on that day ended up being the ignition coils all of them had to be replaced prior to all this I had already been having stalling problem not dying Chrysler dealer in greensboro North Carolina look at my truck fan diagnostic said it was low amperage or something like that can't remember you can get ahold of him if you would like so they said replace the alternator and the battery so I did then the story I just stated took place. Now again location greensboro North Carolina going across intersection rear end goes out the only reason the truck even moved anymore is because it's 4-wheel drive I drove it almost 5000 miles like that before I could afford a new rear end to put in here. I could keep going but the problems of this year model. Multiple dates

Vehicle failed to restart while parked. Fuel system relay failure is being blamed. The relay is part of the totally integrated power module system which has also failed. Owner is thankful that become was parked at the time of fact and was not being driven before the sudden failure of tipm component. Vehicle remains inoperative at current.

For the past week my engine was difficult to start. Cranked for about 20 second before starting. Today the engine cranked but failed to start. After opening the hood and checking the battery I noticed a burning smell coming from the fuse box, tipm, which is located adjacent to the battery. I opened the cover to the tipm and noticed white powder, acid. The negative lead which is also connected to the outside of the tipm had white powder residue on the connector. I tried once again to start the vehicle but only cranked. Then some smoke was observed coming from the tipm. I immediately stopped and made sure nothing was still burning. I read on line that tipm failure is common with my vehicle and other Chrysler products but a recall was not issued. This could have turned into a safety issue if my vehicle began to catch fire. I have to spend $100 in towing cost and ~$800 to repair.

While driving at various speeds and also sitting at an idle, the truck tries to engage 4WD low. Dealership has replaced the front actuator, flashed the tipm on 8/28/15. Didn't leave the dealers lot and the truck was still shifting into 4WD on its own. Back to the garage it went. I would have thought the truck would have a built in safety so that it can not shift into 4WD low at high speeds... been told it could be the ac pressure switch, tipm, transfer case actuator motor. Awaiting transfer case motor to be replaced at the moment. Still waiting for dealer to say that it is fixed. The truck is presenting unsafe driving conditions and the dealership can't find whats wrong with it. The problem still happens as of 9/20/15. Dealer has had my truck since 8/26/15 and still has it as of 9/20/15.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle suddenly shut off. After restarting the engine, the vehicle operated normally. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the ignition switch was faulty. The ignition switch was replaced and the failure was remedied. The contact also indicated that while driving at highway speeds, the vehicle would drift from side to side and was very unstable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired. No further information was available. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 135,000.
