I received a letter that my truck was recalled for the drivers side air bags and parts are not available. 4 months later the parts are still not available and no one can tell me if it is safe to drive my truck. I have read all kinds of things and they make it sound like it is not safe but you never know. What am I suppose to tell my wife and 2 year old son. The dealers say they are not offering loaner or rental cars so I have no option but to drive my truck. My dealer did say to try to limit the driving until the parts come in which could be a year yet. How are you suppose to do that? I really think they need to be providing loaners to the vehicles that the drivers side air bag is affected. I am really hoping I am not in a accident or anything because no one knows what could happen. This really needs to be taken serious as there has been people seriously injured and killed.
