I filed a complaint in regards to the airbags on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. Chrysler contacted me to tell me I needed to call my local Dodge dealership to have my passenger side airbag fixed. I explained to them I have already spoken with the dealers and they keep telling me I will be added to a wait list with no answer as to how long it will be before they reach my name and that I am also on a wait list to have the part put in on my drivers side airback which I took in for a recall in early 2015! it still has not been fixed. They emailed saying they tried to contact me via phone at a number which is incorrect. I have given them my current phone number on multiple times. I just get the run around when I try to call them. I am now getting emails from them about this recall as if they are trying to cover their asses but when I contact the dealership for repairs its always the same response and that is I will be put on a waitlist. This issue is a major safety concern and I would like it remedied. I have been waiting over two years going on three for these new parts to be installed.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad. The contact stated that the front driver side seat belt retractor would not function. In addition, the front passenger air bag sensor failed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where a diagnostic test was performed and they detected a faulty oxygen sensor. The vehilce was left with the dealer where the contact was awaiting repairs to the oxygen sensor as well as other necessary repairs. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.

I bought a 2007 Dodge truck from the dealership when it was new. While driving a few days ago, we swerved to avoid hitting a deer, as a result we hit a power pole. The truck perfectly centered the pole, but to our dismay the airbags did not deploy. We were told that there are sensors located at certain points on the truck and if the sensors aren't hit that the airbags wouldn't deploy. We were going about 45-50 mph when the truck hit the pole. I have pictures of the "sensors" where the truck is dented, but the sensors obviously didn't work. What should be our next step? the truck was purchased new at the Dodge dealership in commerce, ga.
