This is a follow-up to my complaint a few weeks ago.
Had truck into dealer to have the wiper lever/module replaced less than two weeks ago. They said that should fix the problem. Worked fine when the weather was warmer (above 0 degrees Celsius). Stopped working when weather got cold. -24 degrees Celsius yesterday. Will be taking back to dealer AGAIN.
Must be a problem with wiper motor or wiring freezing up.
Definitely a safety issue as the wipers do not work and could cause an accident in inclement weather!

Purchased 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 in November. Less than a month later the windshield wipers stopped working. Sometimes they work for a while and then quit again. Was told by one dealership in Alberta that if they fixed the windshield wiper problem that the 4x4 probably wouldn't work. What kind of solution is that?
These trucks should be recalled by Chrysler as there is an obvious problem with the electronics or wiring. Will be taking the truck in to be fixed next week at the dealerships where I purchased the vehicle, but do not feel confident that this will be the last problem.
Really disappointed with this truck and hope I don't have one of the 'lemons' that you hear about that are manufactured. I had two previous Dodge trucks that were very reliable.

This is the third problem I have had with my new Dodge (two previous Dodge vehicles (Dakota and a 2005 Ram) were trouble free).
Firstly, on collecting the truck from the dealer, the auto-start didn't work - this was repaired within five days.
Secondly, after purchase, the 4x4 didn't work - as discovered during the first real snow of the winter and to the detriment of a neighbors mail box - this problem was resolved (according to Dodge) after five weeks in their service station (the neighbors' mail box was replaced by me).
Today's fresh problem happened during heavy rain when the windshield wipers stopped working (today's temperature was in the high 50's, not below freezing as reported in some of your other complaints) - luckily I was not on a freeway at the time.
Tomorrow, this vehicle returns to the Dodge service center.
