Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Consumer writes in regards to engine tic/ manifold exhaust leak recall. The consumer stated a recall was issued by Chrysler for the exact same issue he experienced with his vehicle. However, when he called his local dealer, he was informed his vehicle was not included, even though his vehicle had the same engine and fell under the same year, in which the problem existed.

The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they stated that it was the exhaust manifold bolts that were fractured and causing the noise. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in any recalls. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and the current mileage was 31,000.
