Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

On December 26 I was driving on the highway at about 55 mpg when I heard a loud noise and just after that my back wheels locked up leaving me stick in the middle of the highway at this time I also was pulling a car trailer witch made it a lot more dangerous as a man driving a truck stopped to help us get out of the road a man driving a Honda ran in to the back of the trailer wile I was under the truck tying a strap to pull it out of the way so now we had an accident on our hands. After looking up the truck I found out there was a recall for this part so I called the local Dodge dealer and they said they would not help me because I had purchased the truck in Mexico witch sounds like bull to me can U guys help me get my recall on my truck and get it fixed.

I've received numerous recalls about the rear axle pinion nut. I've contacted 3 different dealerships in the area and either the part still isn't available or they just won't return my calls. I have not had an issue yet with the truck and I hope I never do since Dodge won't call me back. This is very frustrating!! apparently, this product failed at some point and now I can't get the part replaced.

Received safety recall M34 NHTSA 12V-474 months ago and still not repaired. Dealer says they don't have parts and will notify me when they are available. Date of recall was January 2013. It appears to me that Chrysler has no intention of making the repair as it has had more than adequate time to acquire the parts. Is no one following up to insure the recall requirements are fulfilled or are we waiting for a major injury to occur when this part fails? is everyone experiencing this problem or is a local issue. Any assistance is appreciated.
