The high beams on this truck has always been bad, You cannot even see on low beams at night. My 2005 Tacoma had extremely bright lights on high beams. Even on the Tacoma the low beams were brighter than the high beams on this truck. But from all the forums I read this is a standard complaint on this years truck. Basically this is the only issue I have with this truck.

HAVING A PROBLEM WITH NIGHT DRIVING. ILLUMINATION IS POOR ON LOW & HIGH BEAMS. I'M ALMOST AFRAID TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. HAVE RESEARCHED PROBLEM ON LINE AND FIND I HAVE LOTS OF COMPANY WITH THER SAME COMPLAINT. I WOULD THINK A COMPANY LIKE CHRYSLER WOULD RESPOND TO ALL THESE COMPLAINTS. IT CAN'T BE AN ISOLATED PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM

This vehicle was manufactured in Canada. Not sure if their regulations are different than in the US, but if they are, they ought to make these vehicles safe to drive where they are sold! These headlights are SO DIM, it is unsafe to drive at night. Can hardly see the road. Already hit a deer the first night I drove at night. Could have been worse! I no longer drive after dark, until I can find out if DODGE is replacing these headlights or recalling them so that they are bright enough to see driving past sundown. My husband had the same problem on his Dodge truck, but saved up the money to have the lights replaced. Can't believe that these actually past an inspection to be safe to drive in the dark, perhaps no one tested the lights after the sun went down!!! If they did, they would understand that my flashlight gives off more light than these on the high beams! SUPER DANGEROUS AND NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BY DODGE!!! Someone is going to get seriously hurt (besides my truck) by the inability to see anything beyond 20 feet in front of them.. Please let me know if this has been recalled yet or if anyone knows of a good fix for this problem that doesn't cost another $500.
