Bf goodrich radial tire (P245 75 R16) experienced sidewall separation which cause the consumer to lose control, the vehicle rolled several times, one person was injured due to the incident. (Ohio traffic crash report)
PE00 020; consumer was traveling about 60mph on highway, and heard air coming from tires. Then, vehicle started to swing from left to right. He was able to pull over to the right. Right front sidewall was sliced. A big hole was inside sidewall, this happened on Thursday. Tires were Firestone wilderness, P26570R16. Then, on the 7/29/00 left front tire exploded while vehicle was parked on the curb. Tire were brand new. Dot #V672 WL2, all tires had less than 3000 miles on them and both failures experienced sidewall separation.
