With the failure of the cheap little plastic gates, I now don't have defrost for ice on the windshield days, or heat to the floor on cold days. The cab gets warm, and your face gets too hot, with the air only blowing from the dash vents, but your feet stay cold and an icy windshield now depends on the washer fluid and wipers to get cleared for the driver to see.
