Oil pressure would drop to zero "0" the warning alarms came on to "check gauges". Oil pressure would return to normal then drop out again.

This happened on idle, not when running.

Replaced oil pump $30.00 and 75.00 labor, Dodge pump can be changed without lifting the motor.

Note: I bought the pump at Advance Auto Parts, the clerk told me they don't carry pumps in stock, when hr checked his computer he fount they had 2 IN STOCK! He said they only carry 4 models of pumps and this is one. TELLS ME THIS IS A REAL COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE DODGES.
