2001 Dodge Ram van 1500 has major frame rot on passenger side front frame going to bumper. To repair it would be costly and we can't afford another vehicle and a mechanic told me if it breaks we will lose steering control. I have seen the same on other Ram vans also. Why isn't there a recall or fix for this problem. The van has 169,000 miles and is a conversion van.

I purchased brand new, a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab truck. The trucks dash has so many cracks in it, that they now have ran into each other and large areas have fallen out. This is a manufacturing defect that Dodge refuses to do anything about. These cracks have been in my dash for years. It is not heat related because I purchased the truck in Washington state and was there for several years before coming to California. This is an electrical hazard and a flying object hazard, should I hit someone or they hit me and pieces start flying from the dashboard. This is a nation wide problem with the dashes from Dodge, it's time they do something about it. These cracks have gotten worse and worse over the years.

Chrysler recall G28 on my van was never done. Dealer says it was completed on 02/20/2008 which couldn't have happened since vehicle is off road between Dec. & April 01, every year since I purchased vehicle on 03/31/2001. I feel that I should have this service done without charge but dealer won't do it. Further more I would like to know why this vehicle was considered repaired when I know I never received recall notice or had it repaired.

Dealer couldn\\'t diagnose fuel pump problem. Kept reprogramming computer until total engine failure @ 30,000 km. 10 month fight for engine. 6 weeks to replace in shop. Electrical problems still exist since new. Truck has 77,000 km now. It is totally incapable of towing rv, what truck was bought for. Max fuel mileage empty is 10 mpg, 4 loaded. Excessive smoke. All symptoms verified by outside sources, and Dodge states the problem is with me. Am a former diesel mech, and trucker. Dodge refuses outside diagnosis including cummins. This truck has over 18 months of downtime. Just got truck from dealer today again, was told 2 weeks ago that this engine is toasted, then all of a sudden dealer says nothing is wrong with engine. They didn\\'t even have the courtesy to return phone calls or even to call for me to pick up the truck. Dodge will not even accept fuel logs. Have spent in excess of $20,000 out of pocket to keep this bucket going, for things that should have been warranty and outside diagnosis. Am setting up lawsuit now, as I cannot use this vehicle. It has even failed gov\\'t emmision test. Who cares? thanks
