When I first bought my Dodge,I loved it. Now I want take it out and burn it. It stalls at all stop signs and stop lights. Check engine light stays on and nobody can tell me what the problem is. I bought a book on dodges and my husband still cannot find the crank sensor nor can any mechanic i've talked to. Now it wont even start. We've been working on it for five days now and nothing. It really makes me want to buy a Chevy!

right now i can start the car drive it for about 10-15 minutes down the road, and the check engine light comes on and within minutes it just shuts off. i then let it rest for 5 minutes and it starts up i drive it half way down the block and it shuts off and ido the same thing over and over again. I had the check engine light check at the auto zone it read that it was a bad ignition coil had it replace worked for awhile now it still down it again. I recently had the Cam Sensor replace that didn't even work. I don't know what else to do. I'm hearing that it could be crank sensor, the ignition module, the power control module, or the ignition switch. Right now im going on a guessing game. Can some one please help me what is the problem with my car.

I HAVE A 1996 DODGE STRATUS AND IT S MAKING ME SICK I CAN START MY CAR UP DRIVE IT FOR 15 MINUTES ON THE ROAD AND IT JUST STALLS OR BASICALLY COAST DOWN THE STREET AND STOPS. MY EGINE LIGHT IS ON AND I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE FOR A ENGINE LIGHT CHECK AND IT SAID THE IGNITION COIL WAS BAD I HAD IT REPLACED STILL DOES THE SAME THIS, THEN I HAD THE CAM SENSOR AND THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACE AND IT STILL DOING THE SAME THING. I HAVE A DISABLE CHIL AND IN THIS HEAT I DONT TAKE HER NOWHERE. I DRIVE IT FOR 15 MINUTES IT STOPS COOLS OFF FOR 5 MAYBE 10MINUTES AND IT STARTS BACK UP AND I DRIVE MAYBE A BLOCK AND IT STOPS AGAIN ANYONE HAVE ANY ANSWERS. SOMEONE PLACE GIVE ME SOMETHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

1996 Dodge Stratus 2.0 stick shift --- THIS CAR IS DRIVING ME CRAZY I CAN DRIVE THE CAR FOR 10 MINUTES AND THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THEN THE DAMN THING JUST SHUTS OFF STALL DIES WHATEVER YOU CALL IT IT JUST STOPS. NOW I DO LET IT SIT WHERE IT IS FOR 5 MINUTES AND START IT BACK UP AND DRIVE BUT IT CUTS OFF AS I GET HALF WAY DOWN THE BLOCK.. I KEEP DOING THIS OVER ANDOVER UNTIL I GET HOME NOW ITS SITS IN MY DRIVEWAY. NOW THE CAR HAS PLENTY OF GAS IN THE CAR. I'VE CHANGE THE IGNITION COIL AND THE CAM SENSOR ON THE CAR AND NEITHER HAS HELPED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO I REALLY NEED MY CAR I HAVE A DISABLE CHILD AND THIS MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION. I CANT TELL IF ITS ELECTRICAL OR WHAT. CAN SOMEONE TELL WHAT I SHOULD DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?
