I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE THE CAR A GOOD THREE MONTHS BEFORE I FOUND MYSELF STUCK IN THE PARKING LOT WITH NO FORWARD DRIVE.
THEN TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS TO COST ME TWO/THIRD THE PRICE I PAYED FOR THE USED CAR ($4200.00). PLUS $780.00 FOR RENTAL AND $240.00 FOR GAS. BECAUSE MY AUTO MACHINES TOOK HIS GO OLD TIME FINDING ME A TRANSMISSION.
SO I GET THE CAR BACK TO FIND THAT I HAVE NO AC BECAUSE A SCREW HEAD IN THE MOUNTING BRACKET FOR MY AC CONDENSE BUST THE SEAM. SO I AM RIDING DOWN THE STREET AND I START TO HEAR A METAL TAPPING SOUND AND THEN THE ENGINE START TO SHAKE AND KNOCK. I GET THE CAR HOME CALL THE MACHINE AND HE TELLS ME THAT THEIR IS A PROBLEM WITH A VACUUM LINE AND THAT HE HAS TO PUT A SMOKE TEST ON IT TO SEE WHICH LINE IT IS.
THE CAR IS IN THE SHOP AGAIN AND I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHATS WRONG OTHER THEN I FEEL I HAVE BEEN F*CKED ROYAL BY THE USED CAR DEALER AND THEIR MACHINE. THANK YOU ,
CONTOUR.

I lost middle gear in this three speed transmission right at 100,000 miles. Someone had put the wrong transmission fluid in the vehicle before I purchased it, now I have been living with a broken tranny for a year and a half. I figured out a way to still drive it without putting money into buying a new transmission. I take the overdrive off, gas on it until about 15MPH, let off the gas and wait for the shift. Then I'm ok the go. It took a little getting used to but I've put over 16,000 miles on it since the tranny has gone out with nothing else happening.
