The Escape has just been bumpy, and certain bumps sounds like the front end will fall apart. Started off with a lot of front end noise. The left front CV Axle joint snapped and dragged the rotor along the road. While replacing both CV Axles, I noticed it damaged the tie rod and replaced that. Driving on the highway and side streets any bump sounded like the dash board was about to cave in. A couple hundred miles later both wheel bearings started to growl.

I took it to an independent mechanic shop and they said it was the worst wheel bearing wear they have ever seen. The truck drove OK for a while longer, then the clunking got worse and every bump made the front end wobble. Ended up replacing BOTH control arms, BOTH front struts AND rear shocks. After that got an alignment and brand new front tires and the truck STILL rides bumpy.

my front suspension has had new struts, new axle, new swaybar links, new bearings, some crap w/a cog or disk that is part of my abs coming loose or splitting 2x's on both sides (which wonderfully can't be replaced without buying entire axle or half of the axle)...the front end is junk....oh and my steering wheel for some reason on loosened itself 2x's (what the hell is that)
