I bought the car early 2006.The car shutteres one day going down interstate, took it to the shop was told you hit a bump. Drove it a little while longer still doing it. Took it to shop was told change the fluid did that and of course it still did it.It got worser. I took it to one shop after another each told me something different. Torque converter, gears are broke in it,seals have gone bad, fluid is dirty, your driving it to hard, you have lost a gear and many other things. Then it got so bad the O/D light started flashing and it wont pull good when the light is flashing. It jerks really hard when you it tries to change gears or if you stop and take off again. Finally was told by a FORD dealership you need a new transmission. I ask if Ford was going to help with the cost due to research I have done this cars transmission is not good. I was told FORD stands behind its car and they have done some changes to the transmissions in the newer ones. Guess what buddy that dont help me. This is my first and last FORD.
