Ok , Ford Escapes have a problem with the transfer case and the seals. They need to step up and refund the people who have had to deal with this. Ours was 3 years old, 40,000 miles and the transfer case blows up on the inside!!!!!!!!!!! Please. I was told the seal has a problem, well if they do , they should've recalled them , get the seals tightened, fixed, etc. so that it doesn't lead to a major repair if you don't get your vehicle service at a Ford dealer. This should be taken care of by Ford. My repair shop, the next few weeks, had to replace another transfer case on an Ford Escape with only 46,000 miles on it. Ridiculous.
