Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Ltr fm anthony and carol bartleson (fl) re the problems they are having with the dealership re their 2003 Ford Excursion w/defective paint job. Vehicle was returned by the salesman after being cleaned when the consumer noticed a stone ding in the left front fender. From hundreds of thousands of little red rust partials in the white paint to the hood being crooked. The tires weren't replaced like they were suppose to be. The dealership wouldn't warranty the paint job for over a year, no address the concerns regarding the tires.

Dealership has refused to repair ( warranty ) my 4 month old 2003 Ford Excursion. The door locks do not work, the roof leaks, the hood is crooked. The cruise control sticks and the truck accelerates but when the off button is pushed the engine dies. The paint has 100,000 rust particles in the finish, the primer is showing through the white paint in places on the truck, strange noise when the truck is first started.
