The contact owns a 2003 Ford Excursion. While driving 30 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The failure occurred while driving in reverse or forward. The dealer stated that the camshaft position sensor failed. No repairs were made. The manufacturer stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number 07V553000 (electrical system:software). The failure mileage was 48,000 and current mileage was 53,000.
