Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L
#3 spark plug blew out damaging the coil. I have read that this is a common problem with the 5.4l triton engines. If this is so common why not recall the engine and give the people that still have some faith with fords a break. I took it to the ford garage and they gave me 3 options 1. heeley coil it, but they will not guarantee the work.
2. Buy a new head and that will cost me $3000.
3. Buy a new motor and that will cost me $6000. I don't know about everyone else but I think someone is getting screwed!
