- Automotive Forum - This covers the solution. Sadly, this is a common problem. I have this problem currently and working on the fix. Step 1: Seal the windshield. Step 2: Dry out the drivers side fuse panel and hope all is back to normal.

My 2000 Ford Expedition was running and the radio was playing. Tried to turn it off with the key but radio will not turn off. Also, when I started the vehicle up, the windshield wipers started up even though I didn't turn it on. Wipers and radio starting and stopping without me doing anything. It does this every time it rains.
