I noticed a little rust hole under the driver's side door last year, now it has spread under the whole DS under the doors and some of the undercarriage of the vehicle, some minor rust has started on the PS. I asked a body repair person about the issue and he told me that a lot of Fords in the 2000 - 2003 year holds moisture on the DS and the outcome is rust on the body.

It pisses me off, I have had other problems with this vehicle, started minor and now is turning into full blown body repair and repaint, and rusted parts that have to be replaced or my the whole rear will eventually fall out, putting me and my families lives as well as other drivers safety on the line. Does anyone else have these issues?

excessive rust under driver side doors

Looks nice on the outside of door with no rust or damage, just under inside looks like it has metal eating termites. Should I call terminext... my mechanic says the whole under carriage is that of a rust bucket...I asked about undercoate when new and was told by the dealer it is not needed!!!!
