While driving at 45 mph on 2 lane road the truck acted as if it had run out of gas. I shifted into neutral and coasted to a parking lot at a store on the other side of the road. Thankfully there was not opposing traffic or I would have stopped in my lane and blocked traffic.

It takes forever to dribble gas into the tank at the filling station; the back pressure in the filler pipe cuts out the pump so bad it takes over 20 minutes to fill the large tank; this is unacceptable in bad weather and more than annoying on a tight schedule as it encourages speeding to make up for lost time!

Engine went in to fail safe mode and stalled while coasting to pull off. Put in neutral shut off key and then restarted. No more problem..until a year later. Fail safe then stall. Restarted and check engine light on. After 10 miles fail safe and stall. Restarted check engine light on took to dealer. Diagnosed as throttle body $650 repair. Obviously; I am not the first victim! shame on you Ford for not stepping up and taking care of your customers and replacing the throttle bodies. To consumers..fail safe doesn't mean safe to keep driving, it is designed to keep the engine running just long enough to maintain power steering and brakes while you pull over. Good luck!

Car just died on highway just shut off would not restart. After looking at it the fpdm was corroded and bad. This has been a interrmtint problem and has almost caused accidents when car stalls when driving at intersections and such aluminum and steel dont work well under a car and corrode very badly.

3rd time problems with spark plugs and fuel injector....was told by dealer that this year model the injectors are bad for sticking....leaving the owner to pay for repair cost and the expense of changing Ford faulty spark plugs.
