The Paint is bubbled on front hood on two sides. Call ford and they will contact me December 27 or 28, 2017.

they said they will tell me if they are going to help me. the cost is 900.00 to repair the hood, strip the paint off of roof, and repaint it.

Update from Jan 2, 2018: Got a call form for paying 795.00 to remove paint and re paint front hood

Update from Jan 7, 2018: Ford agreed to pay for most of the painting of the hood

Ford is not standing behind their product. They know that the industry is having issues with aluminum hoods and tailgates and are not willing to resolve it.

aluminum corrosion

2015 FORD EXPEDITION with 20,000 miles has Galvanic Corrosion on ALUMINUM HOOD and ALUMINUM REAR HATCH DOOR. Ford has known about this problem since the year 2000 noted in TSB 16-0028. Dealers are aware, but do not disclose manufacturing defect prior to sale, which is FRAUD.
