Slightly revs higher at shiftpoint, shortlast. When I "pour the coal to it" from a stop it will go through the gears, but each shiftpoint is affected by a slight climb in rpm. This, however, only lasts for a brief second, but because of this, there is a slight power loss. It wasn't doing this before I recently changed tire size from 225/75/R15 to 31/10.50/15. Would this be part of the problem? Or is the transmission just getting tired. 225000km on the vehicle. Would appreciate an answer back.. Thank you.

At the beginning of my trip I have a road that is a 50 mph speed zone. but when my car shifts gears, the car just goes at 15 mph or less and its annoying because I have to make sure I am up early enough and I have to be at work at 8:00am. It usually takes me about 23 minutes to get there, now it's taking me about an hour to get there. I need help.
