paint cracking on hood and cab went to the ford dealership when my warranty was still good. they said they did not have any openings for appointments for maybe three months so come back and make appointment later. told the paint and body guy that my warranty might be up by then he says don't worry you made a complaint before the warranty was up. so stupid me I take his word for it. couple months past by and I go back and they tell me my warranty is up so they can't do it under the warranty. I wanted to choke the hell out of that body/paint guy. I just hate even looking at my truck it just disgusts me. I don't even like washing it anymore cause the chipps show up even more. I'm never buying a ford ever again. they don't stand by their problems but when they wanted money in hand at the dealership they had no problems. they suck ass.

The paint on the hood of my Ford Explorer is bubbling up and peeling. It is only a small area right now but continues to chip. How can this be fixed? I think Ford should be responsible for defective paintmanship. This has never happened on another vehicle that I have owned that was manufactured by another company.

I just finished washing my car and when drying it noticed 2 bubbles under the rear tail light, one is already peeling. I am going to try to contact the dealer but there is nothing in my extended warranty about paint and I couldn't find any recalls for paint, so I am sure the problem will be mine to fix, which I will even though it is a 2002 I keep my vehicles looking like new. Thanks Ford for that Great paint job!!! You Suck!!!
