Explorer Sport Trac 4.0L
Other than changing the water pump, it's hasn't been too bad, but this really sucks! Due to the design of the engine the timing chain (there are apparently 3 on this engine) the one that skipped is on the passenger side at the rear of the engine and cannot be accessed without removing the engine!!! Great design Ford. Don't the engineers think of this when designing. Remember the old Trucks where you could climb into the engine bay and almost work around the whole engine.
