Original drag link ball stud failed/separated, causing the steering ector shaft arm to be disconnected from the right wheel spindle. I believe a very rare occurance. Although the actual failure happened at a very slow speed, the result of this failure occurring at highway speeds could very likely result in multiple fatalities. This failed component needs to be investigated and addressed expeditciously before someone is seriously injured or killed. The vehicle in question is 3 years 4 months old with less than 55,00 miles.

The vehicle was a wreck and the dealership sold it as new. The steering is off, and the airbag light comes on and off. The 4-wheel drive no longer works and Ford refuses to repair it. *
