I was driving on an interchange ramp at approximately 50 mph. It was two lanes and a semi started to move over into my lane. I pressed on the accelerator to kick it into overdrive to get past the truck. All of a sudden, the accelerator went all the way to the floor and stuck there. The way it happened was just as if the "resume" button on the cruise control had been pressed to resume speed after you slow down....the accelerator depresses on its own and the truck gets back up to the set speed. However...the cruise control was off since I disticntly remember turning if off prior to getting into indianapolis.
