the accelerator got stuck while driving to work on the highway. The pedal was all the way out but it just kept accelerating. When i tried to slow down the truck would do a break stand. This became extremely difficult to control and deal with all the morning traffic. I tried putting the truck in neutral but the rpm shot up to 5500. Finally after running a red light and narrowly missing a number of vehicles. I found a side street where there was no traffic and jammed it in park and shut it off. This was very scary and my first thought was this could have happened to my wife with our 5 month old boy. Something has to be done so this does not ever happen again. This could have had a different ending.
