I'm just experienced a week ago an intermittent loss of power on my 2006 Ford F-150 and then the engine just shut down. I was able to restart it after a few minutes, but the loss of power continued. I haven't had a chance to have the truck looked at. Anyone who has experienced this and has been able to resolve the issue, your solution would be greatly appreciated.
I read David A. Woods article "Ford Agrees to Fix 1,600,000 Cars That 'Limp Home'", and this problem is exactly as he describes, except my vehicle is a 2006 F-150. It happened today and I haven't had it looked at yet, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and did they find a "fix"?
