Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The contact owns a 2006 Ford F-150. While the contact was driving approximately 25 mph over a bump in the road, the air bag warning light illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, where they stated that there was a recall under NHTSA campaign id number 1V107000 (air bags: Frontal: Driver side inflator module). On May 1,2011 I received a recall notice from Ford Motor Co. For recall # 11S18 on my 2006 F-150 truck. I made an appointment with mcree Ford in dckenson, tx. The next day they cancelled the saying appointment stating they didn't have the part and would get back to me. I tried to reschedule again, to no avail. I called Ford again who said I would be put on the priority list. 21/2 months have passed and still no resolution. Please help to resolve this matter.

I received a recall notice (11S18) from Ford Motor Company for air bag deployment issues that could cause injury to driver. I scheduled appointment for this repair and dropped 2006 Ford F150 at the dealer on scheduled date. The truck repair couldn't be performed because Ford Motor Company did not supply the parts. I have a hard time getting the truck to the dealer for the day as it is my only transportation as I work 20 miles away from home. Ford Motor Company should have supplied this part prior to the scheduled date provided to me. I think Ford Motor Company owes me some time and transportation now to get this problem fixed or take the piece of you know what back. I have not had a good to say the least experience with this Ford truck and I am not the only one that feels the way I do about Ford.and the problems they are putting on the road and to the customers.
