The contact owns a 2006 Ford F-150. The contact had to have the front bearings and rotors replaced on both front wheels of the vehicle as a recurring failure. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told there were no recalls for the vehicle. The contact believed the failure to be a safety issue and was concerned that the wheels would detach from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for possible repairs. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 136,000.

Loud screeching noises from the front end. It happened several times and I took it to an out of town dealership because I was over 125 miles from home. It seems a 4 year old truck with 69K miles had to have both hub assemblies replaced, both actuators and both valve assemblies. Mechanic stated that he's had to replace over 25 Ford F-150 trucks for the same defect (his words).

The contact owns a 2006 Ford F-150. While driving 70 mph, the contact drove over a series of bumps in the road and his vehicle began to jump and shake violently. As time progressed, he could drive 55 mph and ride over a pothole or even the slightest of bumps. As a result, the vehicle began to shake and vibrate similar to how a flat tire would feel. The dealer stated that he needed shocks and tires. After spending $1,600 dollars on what the dealer recommended, his vehicle is still vibrating and shaking uncontrollably. The current mileage is 41,132 and failure mileage was 10,000.
