I first noticed the air flow control on first cold day this year. The heat would only come out the dash vents. I took it to a Ford technician, however after 10 days, he could not figure out the root cause of the problem. He was baffled by what I think is an intermittent fault. He said he reached out to Ford engineers, to no avail. It is not the mode control panel.

Every once in a while, it works as it should. Just thankful I am in Texas where winters are mild.

The heater will not stop blowing air out the defroster or side window vents no matter what the setting is on. When i got around a corner or turn the truck the blower will increase the speed of the air coming out. if the truck speeds up the blower increases..

First time I turn on the heat I noticed it didn't seem to be working when it should have been blowing at my feet. When I played with it a bit I noticed the air was coming out of the defrost vents along the dash instead with barely a draft at the feet. Bringing it back to the dealer for a two day repair, where they will be removing my brand new truck's dash to look into the issue.
