the vehicle was parked 2-hours started on fire an proceeded to burn to the ground! Fire investigator said "it was caused by the alternator". I don't think this is possible after being totally turned off, parked,in secluded area,2-full hours in 30-40 degree weather. now either ford has a problem with wiring, or fire investigator has a screw loose. it is on-going investigation. would appreciate input either another similar complaint, or confirmation that this actually is impossible or possible regarding "accidental fire that destroyed my pride and joy" PLEASE YOUR INPUT ON THIS SUBJECT WOULD BE SO HELPFUL DROP ME A LINE AT r.tonasket@YAHOO.COM THANK YOU.
