In Dec of 2006 accelerator seemed to be sticking, only in cold weather. Took in to be checked and they determined it was the throttle plate. Had the throttle plate cleaned lasted less then a month. Then decided needed a new throttle plate.. replaced that. That only lasted about a month. They had checked the cable and said that was fine. Then it was said it was the thermostat. Changed the thermostat and the weather warmed up no more problems until now.. about one month later.
Acted kind of sticky yesterday park in the garage and this morning went out to use the pickup and could not press the accelerator down at all. Temperature outside was approximately 10 degrees. Had the vehicle running for almost 1 hour thinking it would help DID NOT HELP one little bit. Called the garage and they are stumped but if I could bring it in they would look at it. Can't bring it in if I can't press accelerator down at all and live 30 mile away from the garage.
