As soon as the truck started, it popped out one of its spark plug. The truck started shaking and made a hollow noise and began to smoke and quickly caught on fire. The fire burned the entire truck.

The emergency parking break does not work, I don't think it ever has. I have had it repaired twice over the years and it quickly quit both times. It feels like normal resistance when you push it in with your foot, and does a normal clunk and release when you release it, but it does not at all hold the truck in place. It is a manual transmission so it is very inconvenient for this to not work. An example, that I have to deal with regularly is hooking up to a trailer. I need to get out to see how close I am and I have to put it in gear (only reverse will hold it, the other gears will slip and the truck will roll) and turn it off to go look.

Ford F250 4X4 6.8L V10 spit out number10 sparkplug at 65 mph for the second time now two months after repair. Paid $60 for repair kit plus $65 for another new coil as it gets damaged each time this happens. No fire this time as I was able to stop and remove the coil before getting off highway.

Vehicle was parked, key off, not attended, caught fire, burned vehicle and surrounding equipment and buildings to the ground, but everyone denies that the cruise cancel switch caused it even though the symptoms fit.

We notified the dealer of the paint cracking and failing after having the vehicle only a year and half. They first stated that the truck had obviously had some type of repair work done, but after researching it in the enternal data base found that was not the case, and it was in fact a paint failure. They have also stated that they will correct the effected areas. Our problem is that the effected ares are half of the truck, and they are not willing to repaint the entire vehicle. We have a major purchase of a $30,000 truck, and now half of it is going to be be shade of black and the rest will be another. I can see them not repainting if it was something we had done to cause this and it being covered under warranty, but this is not the case. I have owned nothing but Ford products since being able to purchase a car, and I am totally disheartened with their lack of caring. Cars are no longer a small purchase... they are expensive and a huge investment. I don't believe that they should be able to get away with such things... this is a factory problem and they should be doing everything within their power to correct the vehicles to the cumstomers satisfaction. The vehicle will lose power with the engine light coming on, cause unknown. The Ford dealership has had the vehicle for three days, stating that vehicle was getting some sort of resistance. The vehicle was again failing with the same problem. The consumer states that he had taken the vehicle to another Ford dealer and they seemed to have remedied the problem-linkage accelerator. The windshield was leaking-resealed-still leaking. The vehicle has been okay since the last repair. Now the windshield is leaking water, and is running behind the dashboard. The consumer has also experienced the following: When stopping the vehicle feels like the drivline shifts forward-loud bang, when starting off, the vehicle shifts backwards, the connector is not fully seated(PCM module), and the injector harness intermittenly opens-repair loose left valve cover injector harness connector causing high resistance cleared.
