We bought this vehicle from a Ford dealership, Walker ford, in Clearwater Florida. It was labeled as Certified pre owned. We purchased a Ford Factory 3yr/36month warranty for over $3k.

We have had nothing but trouble since we bought this truck, and every time we bring it in for service, since the day we bought it, we have had to fight to get anything fixed. Literally the day we drove it home, we drove it back because the engine light came on and the thing smoked like crazy to the point that it was impossible for drivers to see though the smoke.

The truck developed the death wobble and my daughter took it in for service. The Service department is telling her that the suspension is not covered under warranty, because she has aftermarket parts. Nothing has been added to this truck since the day we bought it. if it has aftermarket parts then they were there the day we purchased it. if it is certified pre-owned, How would it have aftermarket parts that did not meet the standards of the certification. In order to be pre-owned, the truck and the whole truck, would have to meet the standards of the Ford motor company. We were lied to, boils it down, to the point of $35,000. let me list the things that have been wrong with this vehicle since the day we bought it.

5 injectors have had to be replaced. one had to be replaced twice. 2 rods 2 pistons all the seals and gaskets associate with the tear down to replace the bent rods. the mirrors won't fold in.

Warranty said they would not cover it because some of the clear coat was coming off the door. What does that have to do with it? Still smokes like a banshee.

I just got off the phone with Ashley, a service writer at Lance Cunningham Ford in Knoxville Tennessee, That is where the truck is now. they have had the truck since Saturday at 8:00am and nothing has been done to the truck except that they want $1600 to fix the suspension. Which is the same suspension that was under it when we bought it, Certified Pre Owned.

I guess when you boil it all down, Ford Certified Pre Owned is not worth a plug nickel. Ford is a liar.
