for about a month now, I have been noticing a slight stutter in the engine. felt like it wasn't getting fuel, or the engine shutting off and on, or timing was off. But wasn't positive, thought maybe there were some small bumps in the road. But Today 5/17/17 I was going to Ford to get my oil changed., left work and the engine just started taking a fit, same issues above but worse, then a loud knocking came from under the truck. My truck is a diesel and it wasn't that kind of knocking, seemed like the motor was going to blow. It started when I was moving and had the gas pedal slightly pressed, I revved the engine and it started missing knocking and then it stopped. By the time I got to the dealership which was 5 minutes away it had stopped.

I have had the truck for only 4 month and it started a month into me getting it. The problem seems to be happening at 50mph to 55 the truck starts sputtering and engine knocking and losses power .I took it to the dealer and the said to me that if it does not throw an engine code or does it in when they have it there's nothing they can do. This has happened to me 7 times in the 4 month I have had the truck . When the knocking starts it seems like the engine is falling apart. I have video of the problem happening. I just spent over 60 thousand on this truck and for sh*t like this to happen is not ok I'm sure Ford is aware of the problem they just don't want to deal with it.

HAVE A 2016 F-250 WITH LESS THAN 10K MILES AND IS HAVING ENGINE KNOCK FOR SURE DURING REGERATION PROCESS. IT IS SCHEDULED TO BE FIXED ON 8/12/16, HAVE BEEN TALKING TO FORD CORPORATION TRYING TO GET SOME TRADE ASSISTANCE AND ALSO EXTEND WARRANTY. NOT TO EXCITED ABOUT HAVING TO TEAR TOP HALF OF ENGINE OFF WITH LESS THAN 10K MILES. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY MORE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE AND IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY LUCK WITH FORD CORPORATION ON TRADE ASSISTANCE OR EXTENDING WARRANTY. WHEN YOU SPEND THIS TYPE OF MONEY SHOULD NOT EXPECT THINGS LIKE THIS.
