If the truck sits idle for two days, it will hardly crank. Took it to the Ford dealership and they kept it for 4 days looking for the problem. Finally told me the existing batteries were old and need replacing. Replaced them with two top of the line NAPA batteries and did not solve the problem. No need taking it back to the dealership, because they can't find the problem. I Disconnected the positive side of the batteries and used a test light between the positive battery post and disconnected cable. Disconnected both wires on the alternator first. Light did not go out. Pulled every fuse one by one. Light did not go out. Pulled every plug in module one by one. Light did not go out. What's left??? I have to disconnect the batteries each time I park the truck or risk the chance that it will not crank due to the drain. My truck essentially useless. Can't wait for Toyota to come out with their diesel truck. This junky Ford will be gone in a flash.
