I have had my vehicle transmission replaced, parts replaced and reprogrammed. I took my car to the local Ford dealership after driving it from Colorado to Nevada and was told that the transmission should have fallen out of the car before I made it here. They were surprised at the condition of the transmission and replaced it. I then drove it away to discover that the transmission was not programmed properly and had to take it back again. I drove the car for a few weeks and the then took it back again because the transmission was surging. I am now getting codes stating that the catalytic converter is bad and that there is a transmission malfunction. I have had to take this vehicle in for multiple ECM updates and the door locks all had to be replaced after I had two door locks malfunction on this vehicle too. I am completely fed up with this vehicle. Ford should reimburse every person that owns one of these vehicles. This vehicle has been taken back to Ford's Service Department more than 6 times in the last year and a half. That does not count the general maintenance and other things that it went in the shop for. I use this car to commute between Las Vegas and Phoenix on a regular basis for work and it has never been a reliable vehicle. I have had the timing belt tensioner go out and the oil pressure vales replaced too. What a piece of crap. Getting it fixed this time and plan to get rid of it. I owned a Jeep Wrangler before this vehicle and it never had any of the problems that this vehicle has had.
