Vehicle is dangerous. I have experienced loss of power with no response to the gas pedal. Car jerks violently while driving making it very difficult to steer and maintain. I have not driven car in months because it is a safety hazard. I have taken car to dealer 4 times and each time they are fixing the transmission, but it does the same thing right after getting the car back. Avoid this vehicle do not buy.
While my 17 year old daughter was driving her 2013 Ford Fiesta the power steering malfunctioned. This happened once before while she was in a parked position, this time however it was while she was driving. After the engine is shut off and restarted the problem is resolved. This is definitely a concern because you have no warning when it will happen. We bought this car 8 months ago for our daughter, she has been a licensed driver since December 2015. The car had 1 previous owner, no accidents, low mileage. Had recall issue for door latches taken care of as well as reprogramming the tcm 3 days before steering went out.
The vehicle shuttered, make grinding sound and hesitated when starting up and driving. At every stop light, stop sign when starting up again, the same sounds, and hesitating would occur. Took vehicle in to the dealer who said I needed another clutch and transmission. About $3000. I have another vehicle same year, same model, and exactly the same situation is happening, these vehicles should be recalled immediately.
