My door all of sudden open when I was driving on the street while having my daughter in the back street which scared me. Thinking it was my door who open the door but I have the child safety on. But after pulling to the side I realize that's not problem. It was my door that does want to latch anymore.

While driving at approximately 65 mph, the car stalled. The car would not start again retiring towing to repair shop. The repair shop said the fuel pump was bad. Other vins for this year/make/model were recalled for this exact issue. I was told my VIN was not included in the recall. I believe it should have been included. I had to pay to repair an issue that should have been covered by the recall.

Vehicle stalls randomly and dies at low speeds, Ford will not address it as a part of their recalls, was told I need to pay for all repairs out of pocket, very dangerous to drive on the highway and sporadic occurrences of stalling. Engine and wrench light will randomly come on and off before the vehicle begins stalling. It will quite literally sieze up on occasion and not be able to accelerate. Vehicle will also randomly die in the middle of driving using gears 2-3.

I leased the car through my bank on May 5th 2016 with just over 35,000 miles. Two months into that the car didn't start and all electronic lights were flickering. It displayed transmission malfunction. I towed the car to a big Ford repair shop. They said it needed a new transmission update and a new clutch. They took care of it. This has happened seven (7) times since I got the car May 2016. Pretty much every four months. It is completely inconvenient and costly. I have also been having problems with the evap fuel components. I have a check engine light on now and it needs to be serviced. The last time I got a transmission update from Ford was in March 2019. My car now barely has 66,200 miles so it's very disappointing the amount of work and transmission issues I've had to deal with. I still owe $4,800 on the car. I leased it for $12,000. I am hoping I am able to get some help or some kind of compensation for dealing with the issues for years. I traded in a good working Jeep to get this car because I thought it would be good on gas and economical. This is my first Ford car. I will probably never buy another Ford car. I wouldn't want to get burned again. Thank you for your time.

Open recall for fuel system for this years car to those made up to June 2014. My car should fall under this as it will not pass emissions and therefore registration due to the fuel system which stalls out every time I fill up for gas. My car was manufactured in July. Additionally, the suspension needs to be completely replaced due to failure. Even my mechanic is completely baffled why a newer car would have so many safety issues.

My car stalls right after I fill up my gas tank with gas. This has happened to me when I am leaving the gas station, once when I was driving through an intersection and many times when I am pulling into traffic to leave the gas station parking lot (almost at a complete stop). My own mechanic tested the problem and said it was my purge valve which I learned was recalled for some Fiestas but my Fiesta VIN is not included despite having the exact same problem that was recalled. I took my car to a Ford dealer and he said they would not fix the problem unless I paid for a repair.

While driving the car stalled and would not start. Aaa loaded the vehicle to a garage where they diagnosed that the fuel pump was not working it showed a fault. No fuel was getting to the engine, the car was on a highway when this happened. I called Ford and they were not interested. I told them there was a recall in the works for this problem, still no help. No injuries involved.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. While the contact's husband was driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle suddenly stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to the meineke car center where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The approximate failure mileage was 45,912.

My 2014 Ford Fiesta suddenly stopped running on the interstate 4 during rush hour (approximately 5pm on May 12 2017). The car was running and it stalled randomly. I restarted and it would not run. After towing it to the dealership, they determined it was due to a fuel pump malfunction. It was mentioned how unusual it is for this to occur on a car with relatively low mileage. There was no warning before the car broke down. No check engine lights. No strange noises. It just stopped. This could be extremely dangerous. After being informed what the issue was, I researched the problem. There was a recall for Ford Fiestas manufactured between April 30 2014 to May 21 2014 (recall # 14S30) for this exact issue: Fuel pump failure. The recall notice states that if the fuel pump fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. When contacting Ford regarding this issue on 5/24/2017, we were told there is nothing that could be done since our car was manufactured just prior to the recall date. I believe this problem was caused by the same issue that was in the recall. It should be noted by the Ford Motor Company to prevent this from happening to others, not dismissed. Again, this could be extremely dangerous as my car was running at the time this happened. I was lucky that the traffic was slow. I also believe I should be compensated for my repair that was done at the autonation Ford in sanford, fl as this is a known issue. I have kept up all maintenance on my car and the fuel pump failed due to a defective part.

See attached statement word document for full details. I have owned this car for two years now, I purchased it in December of 2014. At the time I was commuting 120 miles daily to support a project. I was very early on the car began to jerk and shake. I retuned it first for a defective tire, defective backup sensor and unsafe transmission functionality. Kings Ford (cincinnati oh) replaced the tire (I had to pay for the tire), replaced the backup sensor (warranty) and 'reset/updated' the transmission controls firmware. After this, I retuned the vehicle multiply times for unsafe transmission functionality. After about two more times of kings Ford 'resetting/updating' the transmission controls firmware they finally replaced the clutches. This was at 20,000 miles. Since then I have taken the car to kings Ford two more times for unsafe transmission functionality. Each time they 'reset/updated' the transmission controls firmware. Yesterday, I called Ford roadside to pickup the car and return it to kings Ford due to unsafe transmission functionality. Also, I have another faulty tire and the air handing actuators in the dash are making grinding sounds. I have had multiply near accidents due to the vehicles unsafe transmission functionality. The vehicle has disabled itself in high speed interstate traffic. I had navigate the car from the fast lane to the right shoulder without any available power. I narrowly missed a set of large commercial trucks! once at the side of the road, I had to cycle the ignition before the car would respond to accelerator inputs. There have been multiply other instances where the car fails to accelerate correctly when merging into traffic'nearly being rear ended, certainly leading to a few road rage incidents.
