Fiesta was purchased in October 2019 from Auto Dealer. Noticed hesitating, slow to get increase speed. Acts like it will cut off. Had tune up done in February for 171.00. Do not know all history.

Fiesta

  • Automatic transmission
  • 53 miles

This will hesitate most time but scares me when seems to kick back and then kick into speed. I don't know what it is. Called the dealership, said it was normal. Not sure as I have owned cars over 30 years never had this issue only when the transmission was going.

Fiesta

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,000 miles

this was the first newish car i have ever bought, and after 2.5 weeks the transmission started slipping and jerking. it is really a pain in the ass, i called a dealership and they told me that ford is aware of the problem and as long as it isn't really bad then its ok/ that makes no sense that they don't issue a recall to fix the problem. i'm pissed and really can't afford a rental and a service charge if its not covered under the waranty. what to do?????

Worst piece of sh*tty car I have ever rented. Hardly no miles, approx. 26k and transmission jerking, engine idle rpms all over the place, to the point of stalling. I will never, ever own a Ford period. My son bought an Escape and has nothing but problems with his Brand new car. Ford has turned into an outdated, lack of quality control company that simply needs to go the way of the dinosaur... Extinct. Years ago they were good, but now it's definitely Honda and Toyota. I see them bankrupt in the future as they continue to lose their customer base due to crappy built cars. Commercial contracts is probably the only thing saving them... For now...

Fiesta SE 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,174 miles

THIS WAS LAST MONTH'S VISIT AND THE THIRD TIME I HAVE TRIED TO GET AN ANSWER & SCHEDULE A SERVICE RESPONSE--PREVIOUS 2 VISITS OCCURRED IN OCT/NOV OF 2015. FIRST VISIT THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AND "REPROGRAMMED" THE COMPUTER SHIFTING PROGRAM. SECOND VISIT RESULTED IN REPLACEMENT OF SEAT BELT SENSOR TO TURN OFF A DASH WARNING LIGHT (TOOK DAY AND HALF BECAUSE THE GOT WRONG PART FOR THE SCHEDULED REPAIR, SENT ME HOME IN A RENTAL) NO WORK WAS DONE ON THE TRANNY.

THE RECENT EXPERIENCE IN JAN.2016; RECEIVED OIL CHANGE (3RD) AND ADVICE FROM THE SERVICE DESK PERSON THAT THEY COULD TRY ANOTHER COMPUTER ERASE BUT THAT MY TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WAS COMMON TO ALL THE CARS WITH THE 1.6L ENGINE AND NO PROBLEMS OCCUR WITH THE ECOBOOST ENGINES.

NOW I'M PLANNING ANOTHER VISIT/CAMP-OUT IN THE SERVICE DEPT.CUSTOMER WAITING ROOM TO SEE IF I CAN GET AN HONEST RESPONSE TO THIS TRANSMISSIONS ILLS-WHICH ARE GETTING WORSE--THOUGH INTERMITTENT,-A RECENT "JERK"WAS JOINED BY A LOUD "BANG" THAT FRIGHTENED MY WIFE AND OTHER PASSENGERS HAVE RESPONDED "WHAT IS THAT" "DID YOU FEEL THAT" WHEN THE TRANSMISSION "SHUDDER" ROCKS THE WHOLE CAR ON UP SHIFTS TO 2ND & 3RD.---HOPE I CAN GET THIS FIXED BEFORE WARRANTY RUNS OUT. DOES CALIFORNIA "LEMON LAW" HAVE ANY FORCE IN TEXAS OR ELSEWHERE????

Fiesta S

  • Automatic transmission

This is a brand new car and I was the first to drive, have almost had accidents because the transmission jerks and hesitates especially when coming to a complete stop and having to go again. The hesitation, jerks is dangerous and scary..
