Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Door swung open in parking lot. Door will not close at all and it will not latch, car is not drivable. It could have caused injury or damage if the door hit someone.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Flex. The contact entered the front passenger's side door and her leg was severely punctured by a sharp corner on the seat bracket. The contact sustained a deep laceration. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who covered the pointed corner area of the seat bracket. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 14,000.
