I have had this car for a year and a half and in that time before I bought the car the previous owners before I got new brakes to superglue the brakes to the car incorrectly as well as heat them up to allow them to fit on the car. After I had new brakes allowed and added the brakes I knew would be a challenge but then again this car and I have been through hell and back trying to fix it. I was driving down a road approaching a red light when my brakes went out. Causing my foot to slam down and my car kept moving and my emergency brake failed to work. I had them replaced and they are not as sensitive as before but it almost caused an accident and damage and harm to other cars around me. I am buying a new car soon. Very soon.

I had purchased the car a week and a half prior to the accident. There was enough distance for me to make a sudden stop, going 35 mph in order to avoid a collision. However, the brakes failed and I hit the vehicle in front of me, which made the airbags deploy, smashing the windshield. Because of the deployment of the airbags, the car was deemed a "total loss" and the repairs (estimated to be $8,700.00) would have far exceeded the car's worth. After the accident, I had found out that the original owner had difficulties with the brakes, even when the car was new.
