I will never buy another Ford Focus due to the rotten problems with the suspension. I had one control arm on the front side replaced at a garage when the car was only five years old and then as per the complaint. They told me the final dogbone control arm would need to be replaced next alignment. I have never had another four wheel alignment done, just front end. On top of that the tires wore prematurely. I was fairly consistent with front end alignments but still have to replace the swaybar linkage and bushings to boot. At 131,000 km (02mMar06) the mechanic broke the nut on the camber because of rust and this cost $241.00 bill for 4wheel alignment. F/R link kit replaced at 142,601km (24Aug06). 3 out of 4 control arm assemblies replaced at153,087km (29 Jun 07). Suggested to replace swaybar linkage and bushings while getting F/E alignment done @ 166,021km (05 Jun 07).
