The dealer wanted 370 bucks + the price of the part (70 bucks). To fix this problem. I bought the part and put it in myself in about 20 minutes. A symptom of this part breaking is a very loud idle and smell of exhaust in the car or under the hood.

i went to get gas and started to go up the hill and this loud sound was coming from my hood so i took it to the dealer and he told me that it got too hot and i asked that should be a recall and he said no because things happen it was because the exhaust housing was not welded down good and it was going to go crack it seem like as the days go on it get louder they been ordering the parts for 5 months. now all it do is run hot water pump is good and heater coil good and cooling good what is with this.
