Focus ES 3.2L

Initially, when the engine light came on I took it to the Ford dealer, they repaired one of two error codes that was displaying, replaced a filter. I took the car to a less expensive repair shop to replace the transmission. The transmission was repaired and the engine light keeps on turning on for different problems. Once the code error is fixed it shows another code error. this has happened four times. The mechanic is fed up with this problem and said I need to contact the manufacture about this problem.
