When the car radio volume is low or on mute, it will turn up or on when someone closes the car door (either; mainly passenger side).

Focus SE ZX3 4DR 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,000 miles

This is a "one cd" at a time, cd player.

"Cd player had jammed up, due to "4 cd's" being put in the player at one time. I eventually removed "all" the cd's, (without taking the player apart) now the cd player will not automatically inject a cd, when I manually force the cd in, it will not eject it." I can hear the motor spinning.

I get a "no cd in player error...

Focus ZX4 SE 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

Today while driving home from work I go to change cd's, take one out and attempt to put another one in, nothing happens.... it wont grab the cd at all. I tried manually putting it in, once in, the display read No Cd, but when I pressed the eject button, it spit it back out to me, the radio works fine though. This is just one more aggravation from a long line of problems with this piece of sh**. If anyone knows how to fix this without it costing an arm or leg please share. I have a laundry list of problems with this hunk of junk so I guess I need a new form.

After 2 WEEKS of buying my Focus new, the cd player quit taking cds in. Took it back to the Ford dealer and they had to replace the entire radio system! Really??? Come on Ford, make a vehicle worth paying for!!!

Focus ZX3 2.0L

  • Manual transmission
  • 22,500 miles

When I played certain audiobooks or CD's the audio at the end of every track would cut off before that track was finished and proceed to the next track. There is a fix in the Ford notes that is free if under warranty. I have the single CD player. There is a free, if under warranty, factory fix
