Focus Station Wagon 2000cc
I purchased a 2000cc automatic Ford Focus Station Wagon from new in 2007. Right from the start it has had an intermittant fault after stopping at traffic lights when you deflect the accelerator to pull away the engine starts to accelerate and then dies. The only way to get it going again is to stamp on the accelerator and get thrown back in your seat - this is preferable to being rear ended. The dealer cannot find anything wrong with the car's computer. I have been putting up with it for a year now but yesterday it happened 5 times when driving around town. Has anyone else had this experience with a Ford Focus? I am getting a little apprehensive in that one day I will be killed by this car.
